Acura

Acura

Acura is North-American division of Honda's group. It is dedicated on issue of executive and sport cars.

Assembly plant of American Honda Motor Co. was opened in California on 27th of March in 1986. "Acura" name was created in 1989 and related exclusively to prestige Honda models to be sold in USA. Tactical and technical data of Acura models are usually the same as for corresponding parameters of Honda models. Furthermore models names are the same. Most models are produced in Northern America (CL and TL series) but some models (RL and NSX series) are imported from Japan because of low demand. "American" models issue in 1999 reached 101.3 thousand units.

Main difference of Acura models from similar Honda models in sportive appearance and higher grade of serial model. Besides, Acura sells in USA more prestige models which Honda doesn't sell to Americans.

In label used style of "A" letter which looks like metal pincers. Such simple label explained by differences of new trademark registration in US. Almost always in official trademark register it is possible to find similar trademark.
