Alfa Romeo 75 went off the assembly line on May 1985. Production of Alfa Romeo 75 was terminated on May 1992. This model was named in honor of 75th anniversary of Alfa Romeo Company. Alfa Romeo 75 is the last rear-driven model. Designers led by Ermanno Cresson tried, starting from models of Alfa Romeo 33 and 90, to create sportive car without aggressiveness. They managed to do it with Alfa Romeo 75.
On June 1989 Alfa Romeo 75 was restyled and front part of body was little changed. The same time rare 75 Lusso version with 3.0 l Veloce motor was released. Since autumn 1989 modifications of Alfa Romeo were completed with exhaust catalytic converter system. Alfa Romeo 75 was very popular and it is one of the best sportcars of 1980-ies.
