First Alfa Romeo Arna went off the assembly line in 1983. It was characterized as family small vehicle. This model was first time performed at Frankfurt Auto Show in 1983. The model itself was a result of Alfa Romeo and Nissan collaboration and its name was transcribed as “Alfa Romeo Nissan Autoveicoli” Nissan Cherry N12 was twin of Alfa Romeo Arna. Most parts for model were borrowed from the Alfa Romeo Alfasud, but independent rear suspension this car got from Nissan models.
