Bentley Mulsanne is representative sedan which was designed as alternative to outdated Arnage model. This model was launched in series in 2010. It was named in honor of one of the turns of "SarteВ» racing ring in Le Mans. Mulsanne was the first car in 80 years (since 1930) built on own Bentley platform.

Bentley Mulsanne original platform with 3266 mm wheelbase was designed (not derived as before) in headquarter of British concern. Bentley Arnage cylinder block was chosen as basis for 6.75 l power unit (V-shaped, 8-cylinder unit) with double charge (maximal power of 512 hp, maximal torque is 1020 Nm).
