Flying Spur from Bentley Arrives in Switzerland
It has been two years now that Continental GT from Bentley made its debut in 2010. It has been a matter of conjecture for most of us how the design of this 2 door coupe would fit into a 4-door model being called Flying Spur. Though we received some details before also, it was nothing as compared to seeing the model live at the Geneva Motor Show.
It is a stunning sedan, to say the least, and the photos of the automobile do not do justice to this beast of a sedan. In fact, the photos of the interiors covering its rear looked awkward though in person the same interiors looked very impressive.
According to Bentley, Flying Spur is the most powerful and the fastest four door automobile ever made by it. This is only natural because the new car has the same powerful 6.0liter W12 engine that the earlier coupe called GT Continental had. This 4WD sedan produces a torque of 590fp and 616hp of horsepower. The car weighs 5451 pounds and is able to get to a speed of 60mph in just 4.3 seconds.
The specs do not just mean the mileage and the power and the interiors of the sedan are equally impressive. There is everything in the name of luxury that you can ever imagine in a sedan with the upholstery made of rich leather. The car is available with 4 and 5 seat options. As is the case with other models of Bentley, you can ask for a high level of customization.
