Interesting News
  • PEUGEOT news.

Automatic editions of the 308 and 308 SW fitted with the 2.0-litre BlueHDi 150 engine have been fettled, with CO2 emissons dropping down to 105g/km on the hatchback and 109g/km on the SW estate. Previously they were rated at 107 and 111g/km, respectively. Both Allure and GT Line versions are affected, with all cars rolling off the production lines now boasting the greater efficiency. And while the changes don’t alter the vehicle excise duty cost on the hatchback, the 308 SW drops into the Ј20 bracket, saving Ј10 per annum. That’s not an enormous reduction, however, company car drivers enjoy a one per cent reduction in the benefit-in-kind liability, with both hatchback and SW estate editions now charged at 19 per cent on the scale.
  • BMW news.

Just weeks after the new 7 Series arrived in BMW showrooms, the German firm has revealed prices for the more powerful 740d editions. Paired exclusively to xDrive fourwheel- drive, the 3.0-litre turbocharged engine develops 316bhp and a mighty 502lb ft of torque. But despite this, the most frugal edition is still quoted as being able to achieve 55.4mpg on the combined cycle, and emits 134g/km. Prices start at Ј72,060 for the 740d xDrive and top out at Ј79,675 for the long wheelbase 740Ld xDrive M Sport model. These flagship editions are available to order now.
  • Scrambler Sixty2.

Undoubtedly the most talked-about and anticipated Ducati to be revealed just a couple of days prior to the official opening of EICMA to the public at large. Named after the launch year of the original Ducati Scrambler from 1962, the Scrambler Sixty2 blends its minimalist style with cutting-edge technology. At the heart of the Scrambler Sixty2 sits a brand-new engine from the Italian motorcycling legend: an air-cooled 399-cc L-twin with Desmodromic distribution and two valves per cylinder. Peak power output is rated at 41 PS at 8,750 RPM and peak torque is 34.6 Nm at 8,000 RPM. Being a Ducati, naturally the frame is a steel trellis affair; 41-mm Showa front forks are telescopic while at the rear sits a Kayaba monoshock with preload adjust. Suspension travel is 150 mm both at the front and at the rear. According to Ducati, while the Scrambler Ducati (the 800-cc version) is aimed at bikers looking for an escape, the Scrambler Sixty2 is meant to appeal to a more youthful audience. The bike should be headed for India soon and will become the most affordable Ducati on sale here. So, folk, it’s time to get those old piggy banks out.

With the twin V8 engine's performance and adhering to the noise emissions standard, you won't even feel the engine running. Also, an extra variable boost steering adds up to your weight in tight corners, and gives it sharp drift allowing it to stay on the ground instead of toppling over or losing its balance. It's very satisfying for countryside as well as a city drive and driving around in the city also has its perks of attracting a reasonable glance from the hot chicks in town! ...see full review

All thanks to Maserati for this, as one can fulfill this dream by simply stepping into the Ghibli S - the sports sedan, which is equipped with an optional Q4 that is an all-wheel-drive power train. ...see full review

  • 2015 Honda Fit
The unit of the car is cvt which is almost the same as in the civic, where it also didn't make too much of the fame. Here, there's a Sport mode in those mimics a seven-speed automatic transmission, but it's a very bad copy I must say. The top variant EX-L trims add standard paddle shifters to the mean ride, but the system is entertaining for only as long as it takes a person to realize they do not do a great job of making a copy of anything other than a dying automatic transmission. If a traditional automatic transmission behaved in a way, a person can drive it to the shop straight away or try to stall on the side of the highway to then call a truck to tow it. The Honda believes that it has intentionally made the program transmission to work in a way that just would portray the features to be used by people who care of the ride. ...see full review
