  • Aprilia RSV4 R-FW.

For those who think good just isn’t good enough, Aprilia has released more information on a “Factory Works” program that will enable riders or teams to buy an RSV4 built by the manufacturer’s racing department. While the program is primarily intended to keep Aprilia’s RSV4 on race grids around the world, it is also a chance for (very) serious trackday enthusiasts or collectors to stake their claim on Aprilia Racing Division’s years of hard work and development…for a price, of course. No word just yet on what that price will be, though Aprilia did confirm that the RSV4 R-FW will be made available in five packages (each varying in terms of specification for engine and electronics), with the top packages featuring special electronics systems and an engine with upward of 230 hp. • Honda CB Hornet 160R.

HMSI recently launched their brand-new motorcycle, the CB Hornet 160R, at an attractive price of Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom). The CB Hornet 160R is essentially the CB Unicorn 160 with a brand-new styling and a name that was first seen in Honda’s big bike range. The Hornet is powered by the same 162.7-cc single-cylinder motor that serves the Unicorn, but it has been tuned to deliver higher power and torque. It produces 15.88 PS and 14.76 Nm of torque which makes it the most powerful bike in its segment. Following the segment trend, the Hornet features a wide 140 section rear tyre and trendy styling. • Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro.

Ducati India have launched yet another variant of their highly popular (abroad) bike, the Scrambler, called the Scrambler Urban Enduro. This new variant is priced at Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is now on sale. The Urban Enduro comes with a ribbed seat, an enduro-style handlebar, a cool green paint job, fork protectors, a motocrossstyle front fender, headlamp grille and 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wire wheels. These changes have resulted into a bike that looks even more retro than the standard Scrambler.
