  • ZZR 1400.

Kawasaki have introduced two revised 2016 ZZR-1400 models featuring upgrades to ensure the machines keep their power and character, whilst complying with Euro 4 regulations. Utilising new settings in the ECU and a revised evaporative and exhaust system, the ZZR meets the latest Euro 4 emission regulations without any drop in the power figures of this 1,441-cc machine.
  • Life in the old dog yet....

It might not be as light on its feet as its newer rivals, but Yam’s smooth, secure, comfy FJR1300 is still a valid tourer. Updates a couple of years back - multi-function dash, flashy finish, better suspension, high-tech options - added class, and for ’16 there’s more refinement. It’s got a six-speed gearbox at last, for both better acceleration and more relaxed cruising, plus an ‘assist and slipper’ clutch based on the R1’s system. Got LED lights too and a matt silver paint option, plus AE/AS versions have cornering lights.
  • EXPOSITION SUZUKI.

Suzuki celebrated 30 years of the GSX-R750 at the show, but focused on the entire company heritage with bikes ranging from the 1963 T10 250cc twin through to the latest GSX-R racer in the World Endurance series. Meliand brought the team’s ’83 Herve Moineau/Richard Hubin, title-winning GS1000. The aluminium box-frame machine was the precursor to the GSX-R750 launched in 1975. The stand was very much racing driven with a 1983 Wes Cooley-style Yoshimura GS1000 (right), ex-Marco Luchinelli XR14 RG500, ex-Jack Findlay.
