Following its unveiling at the Geneva motor show last month, Renault has announced prices for its 2018 model year Zoe. The all-electric supermini gains a new, more powerful 80kW electric motor, together with some tweaks to the interior and exterior packaging. The new R110 electric motor means that there’s now an extra 16bhp on offer, with power up to 107bhp, with an extra 4lb ft of torque. The 50 to 75mph sprint is now completed two seconds faster than its predecessor and in real world conditions, the latest Zoe can travel up to 186 miles between charges. Gone are Expression models, with the new R110-equipped Zoes available in Dynamique Nav or Signature Nav trim. Prices start at £18,420 for the Dynamique Nav with a battery lease contract extra, while the batteries included version is priced at £24,020. Signature Nav trimmed cars cost £20,670 and £26,270, respectively. All of the prices have had the Government’s plug-in car grant already deducted. Android Auto is now available on the Zoe, and there’s the option of new Aconite dark metallic paintwork and a purple interior pack that includes a violet satin finish for the dashboard appliqué, air vents, speaker surrounds and gear lever trim, together with black and violet upholstery. The revised Zoe range is available to order now, with the first cars arriving in UK showrooms in the summer.

A new special edition version of the Kadjar has been added to the lineup, called the Dynamique SE Nav. Available with the 109bhp 1.5-litre dCi engine and offered in six-speed manual or six-speed EDC twin-clutch automatic guises, it is priced at £25,520 and £26,720, respectively. That represents a price premium of £700 compared to the Dynamique S model it is based upon, and Renault says that it means a saving of £475 if the features were added to the base car. Extra equipment includes a fixed panoramic glass roof, side steps, a rear parking camera and an automatically dimming rear view mirror. The Kadjar Dynamique SE Nav models are available to order now at Renault dealers.

While French dealerships have had flagship Initiale Paris models in their showrooms for some time, Renault UK is putting a toe in the water to see if the formula will work in the UK. The first car to get the treatment on this side of the channel is the Koleos SUV, with Initiale Paris trim paired exclusively to the 2.0-litre dCi 175 engine and X-tronic automatic transmission. Priced at £36,700, it costs £2,000 more than Signature trim. Additional equipment includes 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, a hands-free parking system, heated rear seats, cooled front chairs, an uprated Bose audio system, heated steering wheel and windscreen and an electrically adjustable passenger seat. In addition to the colours available on all other models in the Koleos range, an exclusive Amethyst body colour is also available. Available to order now, the first deliveries are expected in the spring.
