Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd is a company specialized in production of luxury cars of Rolls-Royce brand. It was founded in 1904 and named after its creators - Charles Stewart Rolls businessman and Frederic Henry Roys engineer. Two woven R letters and the signature made by academic type in the label of company were placed on the red background till 1933. After death of Roys, the last founder, the background became black.

The first Rolls-Roys was assembled in Manchester in November 1904 and now it's privately owed by Love family. The company itself was no able to buy this legendary car despite it was a matter of prestige and honor to get the oldest of the surviving cars.

Exclusiveness aureole that usually follows these cars often hides the reality. It was the inability to create really luxurious cars corresponding to their image, which made the owners from Viskers defense complex to sell Rolls-Roys firm which was already at the bank of bankruptcy. Since 1st of January 2003 the brand is fully owed by BMW concern.
